Light plane crashes in Philippines, all on board survive

A light plane crashed Monday afternoon in northern Philippines, with all nine passengers and two pilots on board surviving, police said. The plane was flying from Basco town, Batanes province to Tuguegarao city, Cagayan province when it crashed at a village of Iguig town in Cagayan at around 1:30 p.m., said Senior Superintendent Mau Aplasca of Cagayan province. All nine passengers and two pilots on board were rescued by police with minimal injuries, Aplasca said, adding an investigation is underway. (NNI)
