LONDON - The body of Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Dr Imran Farooq would be handed over to the Muttahida within a few days in presence of his parents after which a party delegation will shift the body to Karachi, reliable sources at the MQM Central Secretariat confirmed on Saturday. Imrans father Farooq Ahmed, his mother Raisa Begum and two sisters among with their husbands are in London and are in touch with Scotland Yard. They are also providing essential information to police for carrying out investigation. The Scotland Yard investigation team has held talked with important members of MQM Central Secretariat, which led to an important clue about the murder. Metropolitan Police have expanded circle of their investigation and obtained information from local citizens residing near Imrans residence. However, police have not arrested any suspect so far. Anti-Terrorist Unit of Scotland Yard is also pondering over the probable factors behind the target killings in Karachi and exchanged information with intelligence sources at the official level.
