The corps commanders have expressed satisfaction over the military’s operational preparedness to deal with any probable threat.
The commanders met under the leadership of Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarter in Rawalpindi on Thursday and discussed the country's security situation.
According to media reports during the meeting, the commanders were briefed on the internal and external threats facing the country.
The commanders also expressed their satisfaction over the recent meeting of the DGMOs of India and Pakistan during which the two sides pledged to uphold the 2003 Line of Control (LoC) ceasefire accord which had been left in tatters by repeated violations this year.
