ISLAMABAD - Terming India’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s statements about Daud Ibrahim irresponsible, Pakistan has warned no one can cast on evil eye on Pakistan.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said no one could dare to look at Pakistan with bad intentions. In a TV interview, Tasnim Aslam said Narendra Modi had no realisation of ground realities and that his statements were extremely irresponsible. She averred such statements could lead to dangerous consequences.
The FO spokesperson said Indian politicians were trying to win the elections by exploiting anti-Pakistan sentiments and that such statements were not new.“Our borders have the army deployed with security worth billions of rupees and no one should even dare to think of aggression,” she said. Tasnim said: “State affairs cannot be handled with non-seriousness and that the statements which can cause create troubles in the region should be avoided.”
