RAWALPINDI - The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) arrested a passenger from the Benazir Bhutto International Airport (BBIA) here on Thursday and recovered heroin-filled capsules from his stomach.
The ANF team intercepted a passenger, Shah Zaman, resident of Bonar, when he was proceeding to Muscat after they suspected that he was carrying heroine when he passed through the sensors.
The suspect was arrested and taken to a hospital for x-ray of his stomach.
The x-ray showed heroin-filled capsules in his stomach, which he had swallowed before his departure.
More than 90 heroin-filled capsules were later recovered from his stomach.
