ISLAMABAD- Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) would take tough action against the Rawalpindi based lanky pacer Sohail Tanvir for holding the press conference without the permission of the board. Ace fast bowler Soahil Tanvir addressed a news conference at his residence on Tuesday and spoke against the Indian government and Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for not contacting during the times when he was stuck up in Mumbai on the eve of terrorism acts on November 26, 2008.Director Cricket Operations PCB, Zakir Khan said that he was not aware about the press conference of Sohail Tenvir. "This was totally his personal act and he was not supposed to talk to media without permission of the board," he said.He further said that no player was allowed to talk to media without the permission of relevant board officials and he would ask him on violating the code on conduct. Meanwhile, another official of PCB said that Sohail Tanvir had made a clear violation by speaking to media and the board would take action against him. "We would take action against Sohail according to rules specified in the central contract," he added.
