RAWALPINDI  – Traffic wardens deployed on Rawat to Kalar Syedan road have failed to implement the new fare list on the route as the drivers and conductors of the public transport are receiving inflated fares.
According to sources, the government decreased the public transport fares to bring them in accordance with the CNG and petrol prices but some drivers and conductors of the transport playing on Rawat to Kalar Syedan Road, rejecting the new fare list in practical, were receiving inflated fares i.e. Rs30.
The citizens appealed to the higher authorities of traffic police to take notice of the situation and implement the approved fare list on the route.
