NADRA chief inaugurates tree plantation campaign

ISLAMABAD - Chairman of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Brigadier (R) Saleem Ahmed Moen Wednesday formally inaugurated tree plantation campaign by planting a sapling at the premises of NADRA headquarter to support protection of natural environment nationwide. Talking to the participants he said that government has taken a massive tree plantation campaign at the national level to check adverse impact of climate change. The NADRA, being a national organisation, is strongly committed towards its national responsibilities and it always was supportive of such like activities, he continued. "We being the citizens of Pakistan must enthusiastically participate in this natural cause, he further remarked. He said that the lifestyle of the people was changing continuously in this modern age of science and technology but necessity of greenery still immense. Saleem further directed the NADRA regional Headquarter to carry out tree plantation in their respective regions and plant trees, which would be suitable for their local environment.
