ISLAMABAD - The construction work on Shrine of Bari Imam still lingers on causing difficulties for the devotiees come across the country.
Only 84 per cent of the renovation work has been completed, while funds for the second phase was still awaited, Sajada Nasheen of Bari Imam Talib Hussain Dabang told APP on Wednesday. He said the project was started in April 2008 and the estimated cost of the project of PC-1 is Rs 641 million. The second phase of the project will be started after the completion of phase 1, the project work includes landscaping, roads construction and electrical works.
Talib Hussain said that the Urs of Bari Imam is delaying due non-completion construction work of the second phase of the project and security threat.
He said that devotees who across the country bears difficulties and also demanded the authorities to complete the remaining work of Shrine. Ali Sher a devotees came from Chakwal said that the Urs of Bari Imam should held as soon as possible, adding that they will be blessed with spirtual knowledge from Urs.
