ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Capital Territory Police (ICTP) Sunday apprehended 12 outlaws and recovered 1.9-kg charas, five pistols, one carbine and looted booty from their possession.
According to the ICTP spokesman, separate cases have been registered against the culprits and relevant police officers are probing into the registered cases.
According to a press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad on Sunday, SSP Islamabad directed SHOs to enhance vigil at barricades, ensure persistent patrolling across the city, so that the anti-social elements could not have any room of striking anywhere in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Following above motioned directions, Mohammad Ajmal Khan, a sub inspector of Tarnol Police Station arrested an accused Abdul Malik during routine patrolling and recovered 1.25 kg charas from his possession. While 210 gram charas was recovered from Mohammad Saleem by the same officer.
Sub Inspector Ghulam arrested Mohammad Arif and recovered 30 bore pistol including 6 rounds from his possession. ASI Gulzar Ahmad of Margalla Police Station arrested three thieves Bilal, Mohammad Fayyaz and Shah Iran and recovered various stolen items worth Rs 15000 from his possession.
Sub Inspector Mohammad Tehsin and Turabul Hassan ASI arrested two accused Mohammad Zaheer, Mohammad Fayyaz and recovered a Carbine, 12 bore pistol with three rounds from his possession.
Sub Inspector Mohammad Munir, ASI Mohammad Azam of Sabzi Mandi Police Station arrested two accuses Saad Khan and Gul Rehman Khan and recovered two pistols with 10 rounds. Sub inspector Allah Dad of Police Station Shahzad Town arrested two culprits Ghulam Haider and Mohammad Zafar and recovered 430 gram Chahras and one 32-bore revolver from their possession.
IGP Bani Amin Khan SSP Yasin Farooq have lauded the performance of police and directed them to further enhance patrolling and strengthen vigil at barricades so that the anti social elements could be arrested and relief could be provided to the masses.
