Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that all the evidences collected in connection with the Ahsura blast showed that it was not a suicide blast. The minister added that the culprits involved in Karachi carnage have had criminal record. Briefing the media after a high level meeting in Islamabad, the minister said the police and Rnagers personnel would jointly patrol Karachi to avert target killings, saying that all out efforts were being made to stop such killings. He noted that high level committee has been formed which would investigate such acts, adding that public was also becoming victim in such cases. The minister said that strict action would be taken against the suspects of Karachi mayhem, and added that the probe report would be completed within two or three days in this regard. Rehman said that the terrorists were out to disrupt peace in the country.
