ISLAMABAD : Counsel for former president General (Retd) Pervez Musharraf in treason case Ahmed Raza Kasuri said on Monday that his client could not appear in the special court in a situation where courts are attacked by the terrorists in the federal capital. Talking to media persons, Kasuri said nothing was safe if the courts are attacked like this. He said in these circumstances Musharraf can’t appear in the special court. He said Musharraf’s legal team would convince the special court that the country’s courts were not safe and it would be extremely dangerous to present former army chief in the court.
He said that the Taliban have denied involvement in the Islamabad Kutcheri blast. He said the forces involved in such attacks should be unmasked.
