Govt will have to send letter to Swiss authorities for reopening Swiss cases: Anwar Mansoor

Former Attorney General (AG) Anwar Mansoor has said government will have to send letter to Swiss authorities for reopening Swiss cases adding its implementation or otherwise is responsibility of Swiss government. Former AG said this while talking to media men here Monday outside Supreme Court (SC). Anwar Mansoor said he had discharged his duty honestly adding " I have not talked to any judge about any other matter except the merit of the case. Merit of the case can not be discussed in chamber", he observed. He went on to say office of the attorney general was independent and the law minister had nothing to do with this office. "About 17 judges of SC said you will have to send letter to the Swiss authorities. It is upto Swiss government to implement it or otherwise", he remarked.
