340 pollen patients treated at ICTA camp






ISLAMABAD – As many as 340 pollen allergy patients were treated on Wednesday by the free pollen allergy relief camp set up by the ICT Administration at Aabpara Community Centre while the camp has treated total 715 patients during the first two days.
A spokesman of the administration said that all the medicines were provided free of cost to the patients. So far, 715 allergy patients have been treated since the camp started working from Tuesday. According to the break up of the patients, 240 male patients, 80 female and 20 children were treated at the camp on Wednesday.  ICT Administration has been holding these relief camps since 2004 for providing relief and treatment facilities to the patients during pollen allergy season and so far tens of thousands allergy patients had been benefited from the services of these camps.
Known allergy experts Dr Osman Yousaf, Dr Zaman, Dr Athar Rana, Dr Nasir and Hakeem Rizwan Hafeez are providing free counselling to patient visiting the camp.
The residents have also thanked the pharmaceutical companies, chemists and drugs stores for donating medicines for the camp.
