ISLAMABAD (APP) - The motorist using two main arteries of the twin cities IJP Road and Agha Shahi Avenue (9th Avenue) are facing traffic problem due to absence of traffic signals on the main junction where the two roads merge together. The authorities concerned should immediately install the traffic signals to save the motorists from the daily traffic hassles, opined Aysha Gul. The traffic signals which were helpful in controlling heavy flow of traffic during rush hours were removed for widening of IJP Road at the main square, but after lapse of so much time these were not installed by the concerned authorities. Motorists were of the view that it was not possible for the traffic constables to keep an eye on heavy vehicular movement. on the main intersection of three roads including Stadium Road, IJP road and 9th Avenue. Nazar Chaudhrysaid that he had to return from the Capital via 9th Avenue in the evenings and at the main square, it sometimes became difficult to cross. over to Stadium road.
