Islamabad- The sale red juicy watermelons is in full swing in twin cities because of the heat.
The vendors have set up stalls of watermelons in different areas. The dozens of trucks loaded with red watermelons could be seen in fruit markets.
Large number of stalls of juicy watermelons could be seen in Khanna pul, Sadiqabad, Satellite town, Commercial market, Tench Bhata, Dhok Paracha, Dhok Khabba, Committee chowk, I-9, I-10, G-9, G-10, G-7,G-8 and other areas. A watermelon of 5 kg is being sold at Rs 150 to Rs 180. The residents said that the rates of watermelon should be decreased, as it is favorite fruit of the poor in summer.
