At least one policeman was killed and four others were injured in a suicide attack at a police center here Saturday, report said. According to preliminary reports, a suicide bomber blew himself up in the backyard of the Capitals Police Rescue 15 Center in the rush-hour when failed to reach the main building. DIG Islamabad Police informed the newsmen at the site that one policeman, named Munawar, has lost his life in the incident while four others have injured in the attack among one is in critical situation. He said that when the attacker attempted to enter the center from the backside policeman deputed at the location warned him and opened fire, injuring the bomber who detonated his suicide jacket later. An eyewitness told media persons that he heard intense firing for 3-4 minutes followed by a blast. Ambulances and paramedics arrived at the scene soon after the incident and shifted the corpses and injured to the neighboring PIMS Hospital.
