CIIT to organise 2nd Pak-China business forum




ISLAMABAD - The COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) will organise 2nd Pak-China Business Forum here, from March 22-26, 2013.
The event will comprise project exhibition, seminars, workshops and industrial academic exhibition of different products of different sectors. Major Chinese and Pakistani companies, small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurs, universities, and research and development organisations will attend the forum activities.  The forum will provide an opportunity for commercialisation of products and processes of the participating organisations and it will enhance universities research activities in education sector and collaboration in industrial sector.
CIIT has introduced an academia driven model of Business cooperation by conducting Pak-China Business Forum from April 15-18, last year. CIIT’s Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialisation (ORIC) has planned 1st Pak-China Business Forum. The forums’ main objective included to promote academia-industry collaboration in business and economic sectors for mutual benefit of Pakistan and China.
In 2ndPak-China Business Forum 2013, more than 50 Chinese companies from different sectors of Science & technology and in general categories will participate. There are many local companies are also participating in this activity. This would set precedence for the future events and promote business & industry culture based on academia.
