Drug Inspectors team has sealed 7 clinics in an area of Pirwadhai and other parts of the city in an operation against quack doctors. Director Health Rawalpindi Division Dr. Zafar Iqbal Gondal had instructed to a team of drug inspectors to take strict actions against the unqualified doctors who are running clinics and selling fake medicines in an area of Pirwadhai and other corners of the city. While taking action team has sealed seven clinics run by quack doctors and filed cases against them. According to details, team has sealed and fined the following clinics and medical stores including Bilal Medical Centre at Pirwadhai, Jawad Clinic on Boring road, Araib Medical Store in Pirwadhai, Waheed Medical Center in Dhok Ratta, Mohammadi Medical Store in Ziarat Wali Gali, Clinic of Dr. Riaz on Bund Khanna road, Alkaram Medical store on Bund Khanna road, Waheed Medical Centre at Shaheed Chowk and Shaheen Medicos on Bund Khanna road. Drug inspectors have seized expired & unregistered medicines and expired injections to administer animals. It is pertinent to mention that during operation team has caught a quack doctor at Waheed Medical Center in Dhok Ratta while he was administering animal's injection to a man. However, team has sent cases to district quality control board.
