RAWALPINDI - Newly appointed Chief Justice of Lahore High Court (LHC), Justice Umer Atta Bandiyal, has said like before he will strive hard to develop trustworthy and professional relations between the bench and bar to dispense cheaper and speedy justice to masses.
He said this while addressing the lawyers of Lahore High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi Bench on Friday. On the occasion, LHC Rawalpindi Bench Justice Sagheer Ahmed Qadri, Justice Khuwaja Imtiaz Ahmed, LHCBA President Sheikh Ashan-ud-Din, District Bar Association (DBA) Rawalpindi President Sajid Ilyas Bhatti and a large number of lawyers and other subordinates of court were also present in the meeting.
He said that all were equal in the eyes of law. He said that lawyers struggled hard for the uplift of law in the country. The CJ said that judiciary was working hard for ensuring immediate and timely justice to masses, adding that judiciary was keen to solve the problems of lawyers’ especially young lawyers.
Referring to the of problems of lawyers, he said that entire problems facing by every body was could be solved in better way by joining hands, adding that he and all judges were available at all time to address the issues of lawyers.
LHCBA President Sheikh Ahsan and DBA President Sajid Ilyas Bhatti said that the lawyers would not hesitate from rendering any sacrifice for the uplift of rule of law.
They said that they black coats would foil all the conspiracies being hatched by some quarters to malign the most respected Chief Justice of Pakistan and his other companion judges.
