Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has said that provincial quota and 5 percent quota for disabled and special persons should be ensured in the Youth Business loan scheme.
He said this while presiding over a meeting to review the progress of Youth Business Loan Scheme in Islamabad today.
The Prime Minister said that complaint redressal should be done on fast track basis. He also directed Chairman Board of Directors of National Bank of Pakistan Muneer Kamal to review the rejected applications and ascertain the grounds on which they were rejected and if found correct should be added to the list of eligible applicants.
Nawaz Sharif stressed upon transparency in the scheme and said that no favouritism would be tolerated. He also directed for speedy processing of the applications by the Bank officials.
The Prime Minister said that he would personally review the progress of the scheme.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ishaq Dar Minister for Finance, Mr. Pervaiz Rasheed, Minister for Information, Ms. Mariam Nawaz Honorary Chair Person of the youth Program and other senior government officials from Ministry of Finance, SMEDA, NBP, and First Women Bank.
Prime Minister said that he would personally review the progress of the scheme on weekly basis.
