ISLAMABAD- New notifications to sack at least 7 doctors and 34 contractual employees in the Pakistan Medical Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) have been announced. According to sources, 87 employees are about to be fired and without an extension of their contracts.
PIMS is withdrawing its contract policy. Those employees who were appointed in the place of their deceased relatives might also be removed if the contract policy is abolished. Earlier, more than 50 contractual employees have been sacked in the General Hospital in Chak Shahzad.
