ISLAMABAD - Private Association of Medical Institutes (PAMI) has called for completion of constitutional composition of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) at the earliest.
The oath-taking ceremony of office-bearers of PAMI was held at Islamic International Dental College, a constituent institute of Riphah International University, G-7/4 campus, on Monday. The members of Private Association of Medical Institutes across the country participated.
After the oath-taking ceremony PAMI passed a resolution unanimously at its general body meeting that the constitutional composition of PM&DC council should be completed as soon as possible. The federal government should notify the elected members to complete the process as the delay in the process is seriously affecting prestige of the national regulatory body and Pakistani doctors working aboard, the resolution said.
