At least 150 schools under Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) have been destroyed due to torrential monsoon rains. As per details, the recent torrential rains had devastating impact on schools under Punjab Education Foundation. The schools have destroyed in seven districts Muzaffargarh, Rajan Pur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Layyah and Rahim Yar Khan. According to school administration, the torrential rains badly affected schools and now classes could not be started again. The walls and class rooms have been destroyed. A special team has been formed to estimate the loss, and approved funds for reconstruction of the schools.
