Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Saturday said that the provinces would decide the future of the local bodies system, report said. The Federation has nothing to do with the local bodies as the system comes under the jurisdiction of the provinces, PM told the newsmen after attending a ceremony of Pakistan Railway here. Gilani said that the future of local bodies would be decided by the Chief Ministers, not by the PM, adding that it would not be possible that there would be Commissioners in one province and Administrators in other. He said that Presidents control over the local bodies would end when their tenure would be completed next month.
