Twin cities students steal Federal Board result show

ISLAMABAD - The students of twin cities bagged top 14 positions in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-II examination result announced by the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) Monday.
Out of total 17 positions, the students from Rawalpindi clinched 9, Islamabad 5, Wah Cantt 2 and Mianwali 1. Girls grabbed 11 positions while boys topped in six positions of various groups.
A total of 53,506 candidates appeared in the exam out of which 37,800 passed with the percentage of 70.65.
Maria Amin of Hamza Army Public School and College Shahrah-e-Stadium Road (Hamza Camp) Rawalpindi secured overall first position with 1034 marks. Muhammad Musab Hussain from the same institute bagged second position by securing 1028 marks, while the third position was shared by Aemen Shafqat Bazaz from Fauji Foundation College for Girls, Rawalpindi and Maham Fazal from Army Public School and College for Girls, Rawalpindi with 1026 marks each.    
In Pre-Engineering Group, Maryam Asad of Hamza Army Public School and College, Rawalpindi clinched first position with 1018 marks and Soban Ahmed of Islamabad Model College for Boys G-10/4 stood second with 1016 marks. The third position was shared by Talha Rehman of Punjab College, 92, Nazimuddin Road F-8/4 Islamabad and Aminah Siddiqui of Army Public School and College for Girls, 208 Hamayun Road Rawalpindi with 1015 marks each.    
In Science General Group, Sana Arshad of Punjab College, F-8/4, Islamabad secured first position with 1008 marks, Saiqa Hafeez of FG Degree College for Women, Abid Majeed Road Rawalpindi stood second with 993 marks while Hassan Mahmood of Federal Government Degree College for Men, Wah Cantt obtained third position with 991 marks.    
In Commerce Group, Saba Fatima of PACE College for Girls Saddar Rawalpindi Cantt was announced first with 951 marks, Mahnoor Latif of Punjab College, F-8/4 Islamabad stood second with 920 marks while the third position was clinched by Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din of Indus College of Commerce the Mall Wah Cantt with 916 marks.
In Humanities Group, Azizul Haq of Institute of Islamic Sciences, Satra Meel (FA) Islamabad topped with 940 marks. Areeba Zakir of Fauji Foundation College for Girls, New Lalazar, Rawalpindi Cantt got second position with 930 marks. While third position went to Salma Bibi of PACE Model College For Girls, Chashma, Mianwali.
