Senate election to be held on March 2

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has announced schedule for Senate election here on Thursday amid precarious political situation prevailing in the country in the wake of deteriorating relations between the civilian government and military leaders. The Election Commission has said that the Senate election would held on March 2. The announcement came a day after military publicly rebuked Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani for accusing army chief and head of ISI of acting against the Constitution.
