ISLAMABAD: Director General, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), Saud Ahmed Mirza, on Monday dismissed an inspector from service on charges of supporting human trafficking at the airport.
FIA Inspector Afzal Khan Niazi, deployed at the Benazir International Airport, Islamabad, was found involved in helping human trafficking.
Prior to his dismissal, two officials of the Agency were also dismissed from service on corruption charges.
The FIA DG said that an internal accountability unit has been established to purge this important institution from the corrupt elements.–Staff Reporter
