ISLAMABAD - The Judicial Commission of Pakistan on Friday recommended seven names for their appointment as judges of Lahore High Court.
The Judicial Commission met under the chair of Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
The names are District and Sessions Judge Tahir Abbasi, CNS Rawalpindi Arshad Tabassum, and five lawyers Sadaqat Ali Prosecutor General Punjab, Shahid Nadeem Kahnoo from Bahawalpur, Ch. Masood Jahangir from Sargodha, Mohammad Ahmed Bhatti from Sialkot and Sohail Ahmed Bhatti.
The names would be sent to the Parliamentary Committee for approval.
