Islamabad- The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has completed work on four recreational projects that are expected to be inaugurated during the current week.
According to the CDA officials, an International Friendship garden and Islamabad View point have been constructed at Shakarparian. A ladies park in Sector F-10/1, a park for special children in Sector I-8 near Kachnar Park and a park for senior citizens on Hill Road in Sector F-6/2 have been built. They
said that all necessary facilities would be provided in the parks.
Moreover, Member Environment and Engineering Sanaullah Aman said that 360,000 saplings have been planted so far during the ongoing Spring Plantation Campaign, of which 190,000 saplings were planted by the civic authority while rest were planted by different non-government organizations
and school children. He said that a total 600,000 saplings will be planted during the drive this year.
