With advent of chilling cold the poor started to throng at Landa bazaars situated in different areas of federal capital, to buy second hand clothes but increasing rates of the items are creating inconvenience among the poor. The residents of federal capital expressed concerns over increasing rates in landa bazaars and said that there is no check and balance on these landa bazaars. The landa bazaars usually set up in winter season to provide warm second hand clothes at reasonable prices but these landa bazaars are selling clothes at exorbitant rates. The residents said that a sweater is being sold from Rs 300 to Rs 800. The residents said that proper check and balance should be imposed on the landa bazaars to control increasing rates.
