ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid have strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Shangla, Swat, killing some six security personnel.
PML-N central leader Engineer Amir Muqam was the main target of these blasts but he remained safe and some six of his security staff accompanying him lost their lives in these two blasts. President Mamnoon Hussain expressed grief over the loss of precious human lives and prayed for the courage of the bereaved families to bear their irreparable losses with fortitude. In his message‚ the Prime Minister expressed his sorrow over the loss of precious lives.
Prime Minister's Advisor Engineer Amir Muqam has expressed his profound grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of his six security personnel. In an interview‚ he said the martyrs included one Islamabad police official‚ three Khyber Pakhtunkhwa policemen and two personal guards.
He expressed his resolve that terrorists will not be allowed to succeed in their nefarious designs.
