Police arrest 13 outlaws, seize arms

ISLAMABAD - Capital police have arrested 13 outlaws, including three ladies and recovered stolen valuables amounting to Rs 69,000 and three pistols along with seven rounds from their possession. According to details, SHO Tarnol Inspector Fida Hussain Satti, Sub Inspector Rab Nawaz and ASI Nawab Khan arrested eight outlaws involved in kidnapping for ransom and vehicles' snatching. They were identified as Khuram Shehzad, Sabir Hussain, Talat Daud, Masroor Shah, Naseer Khan, Shenshah and Zard Gul and recovered two pistols. Meanwhile, Tasneem Ahmed ASI of Police Station Gholra arrested Muhammad Athar and recovered valuables amounting to Rs 4,000 from him. ASI Arshad Mehmood of Sihala Police arrested Muhammad Javid and recovered a pistol along with 02 rounds from him. Muhammad Shehbaz, ASI of Police Station Shalimar has arrested two ladies, Yasmin Bibi and Maryam Bibi and recovered stolen property amounting to Rs 65,000 from them. M Shafi, SI of Police Station Shehzad Town during the patrolling arrested a woman Shaheen and recovered 1050gm charas from her. Cases have been registered against them and further investigation is underway in this connection. SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam has appreciated the performance of concern police officers.
