Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Friday said on Friday that the government believes in the policy of reconciliation and wants to take along all the political parties on national issues. The government has been and would in future as well take all the parliamentarians, who are elected representatives of the people, into confidence on important national matters including the Abbottabad incident, he added. He expressed the confidence that in-camera briefing would be beneficial for all the members of the Parliament. The Prime Minister was talking to a delegation of ANP Parliamentarians and Senators here at PM House on Friday afternoon. The Prime Minister said that Pakistan is fighting the war against terrorism in its own interest as we want to ensure peace and security of our people. Pakistan, he said, would continue to cooperate with the international community to fight terrorism in all its forms and manifestation but wants to be treated as partners with complete trust. The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA in the fight against terrorism and militancy.
