ISLAMABAD - The government is assisting the IDPs under a comprehensive plan to ensure their better look after at the camps and their rehabilitation in North Waziristan when operation Zarb-e-Azb is over.
According to the official data, the Federal government has so far released around eight billion rupees for IDPs while Rs 358.236 million have already been distributed among 29,853 families.
So far, 929,859 IDPs, belonging to 80,302 families, have been registered.
The Federal government has also announced donation of one day salary of its employees to the IDPs amounting to 200 million rupees.
An agreement has been signed between a cellular company and Fata Disaster Management Authority for further distribution of cash among the IDPs in a transparent and efficient manner.
