Imran Khan claims to award 35 percent tickets to youth for upcoming polls

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has said that he has awarded 35 percent party tickets to youth for the upcoming general election.
Addressing a news conference here in Islamabad on Monday‚ Khan said, “This is beginning of a revolution in the country as old faces associated with corruption and bad governance cannot bring about any change.”
Khan further said, “We have given 80 percent tickets to new faces for the upcoming general election”. He said 80 percent party tickets have been awarded to those recommended by district organizations of the party.
Imran Khan said while others are resorting to just sloganeering, PTI has given 35 percent tickets to those under 40 years of age.
To a question, he said that PML-N was in alliance with the PPP in Punjab for more than three years. He said that there would be main contest between PTI and PML-N in Punjab.
