Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (Rtd) Hamid Ali Mirza has said that the bye-elections at all vacant seats including National Assembly constituency NA-55 will be held on November 07. The CEC announced the decision while hearing a petition filed by former federal minister Sheikh Rashid with regard to bye-elections in NA-55. The counsel of the government of Punjab in his arguments referred the state of law and order in the province. The CEC granted him 15 minutes to consult with the Interior Ministry and the provincial government about their compulsions.
