The central executive committee (CEC) of Pakistan Peoples Party met at the Presidency with President Asif Ali Zardari in chair. The CEC gave go ahead to Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani about reshuffle in the cabinet. The meeting also authorized President Zardari to take decision on the matter of restoration of the party membership of Chaudhry Aitzaz Ahsan. A campaign to 'malign' the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is aimed at weakening the party politically, President Asif Ali Zardari said in the meeting.
