ISLAMABAD -Islamabad Capital Territory Administration will ensure the smooth availability of 20kg flour bags at the control rate of Rs420 in the city and rural areas and anyone creating artificial shortage of flour will be dealt with stern action. Deputy Commissioner Amir Ali Ahmed said it while presiding over a meeting held under his chair in order to review the arrangements regarding supply of 20kg flour bags in the city. Deputy Commissioner directed the magistrates and district food controller Muhammad Afzal to ensure the smooth supply of flour bags and take strict action against those indulging in creating any shortage of flour in any area. Amir Ali Ahmed directed the magistrate rural to ensure the supply of 20kg flour bags in sufficient quantity in Sohan, Bhara Kahu and Tarlai. The meeting was informed that the district administration had also launched drive against the profiteers and those selling flour bags at higher rate were being imposed heavy fines. Amir ALI directed the magistrate to ensure the quality of flour being supplied in the markets.
