A court here Saturday granted exemption to former president Pervez Musharraf from personal appearance in Ghazi Abdur Rasheed murder case and directed his counsel to submit medical report of his client on next hearing.
Additional session judge heard the case pertaining to the murder of Lal Masjid cleric Ghazi Abdur Rasheed.
During the course of proceedings, counsel for General (Rtd.) Pervez Musharraf told the court that his client could not appear before the court since he was undergoing treatment at Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) Rawalpindi.
After hearing the arguments, the court ordered to present the medical certificate during next proceeding and adjourned the hearing till February 01.
