ISLAMABAD – Islamabad Police have arrested 10 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered weapons, car, hashish, wine and stolen property from their possession, a police spokesman said on Sunday. According to details, ASI Umer Hayat from PS Nilor during patrolling, arrested accuse Muhammad Arbab and recovered one 30 bore illicit pistol along with 04 cartridges from him.
ASI Qasim Zia from PS Industrial Area arrested accused Muhammad Asif involved in street crime. ASI Javid Iqbal from CIA police recovered a tampered car bearing registration no LWA. 0812 amounting to rupees 3,50000 from accuse Waseem.
Inspector Mehboob Ahmad SHO PS Bhara Kau during patrolling arrested accuse Imran Hussain and recovered 120 garam hashish from him.
ASI Imran Haider from PS Margalla arrested accuse namely Muhammad Qasim and recovered five bottles wine from him. ASI Muhammad Raees from PS Shalimar police arrested accused Hayat Khan involved in theft and recovered stolen property amounting to rupees 40,000 from him.
ASI Abdul Hamid from PS Tarnol arrested accuses Muhammad Asghar and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Sub-Inspector Muhamamd Khan from PS Ramna arrested accused Muhammad Akram involved in illicit oil selling. ASI Muhammad Nawaz from PS Industrail Area arrested accused Jakseen Massaih. Sub-Inspectors Haibib-Ur- rehman and Manshah Hussain from PS Shahzad Town arrested two accused Kamran and Jafar Khan and recovered two pistols from their possession. Cases have been registered against these nabbed persons and further investigation is underway from them.
IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Yasin Farooq have appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials for high vigilance and patrolling in their respective areas to curb activities of anti-social elements.
