Islamabad- Nine halting points have been set up at all the entrances of the federal capital.
Some 270 commandos from Punjab police will perform the duties round the clock on all these halting points. In addition to the three entrances of Islamabad, four halting points have been established in the jurisdiction of the secretariat police station and the commandos have been deployed therein for the security and safety of red zone. One halting point each, has been set up in the jurisdiction of police station Kohsar and Aabpara. Two halting points have been established in the areas of F-8 and G-11.
