An important breakthrough has been made in the investigations of the Marriot Hotel suicide attack. As revealed by the arrested persons during interrogation, the mastermind of the blast, named Abrar, is a resident of Hayatabad in Peshawar and he was present in Islamabad on the occasion of the suicide attack. Sources of the team, investigating the Marriot suicide attack, told media that the arrested accused Dr Usman, Rana Ilyas, Hameed Afzal and Tehseenullah Jan revealed during the interrogation that the Marriot Hotel suicide attack was planned in Peshawar. According to sources, mastermind Abrar, who was present in Islamabad went into hiding in 'Ilaqa Ghair' after the blast.
