The Supreme Court on Monday disposed of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation officer Kamran Faisal murder case after father of the deceased officer expressed satisfaction over the inquiry.
A three-member bench of apex court headed by Chief Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani heard Kamran Faisal murder case. During the hearing, Additional Attorney General Tariq Kokhar told the court that Kamran Faisal’s father has recorded his statement. He said that new investigation team and medical board in this regard were formed on the direction of the court, adding that Joint Investigation Team (JIT) under supervision of the DIG Islamabad was also constituted.
Lawyer of Kamran Faisal’s father Aftab Bajwa told the court that his client was satisfied on the investigation in the case. On this the court disposing of the case said that the deceased’s father could submit petition in the court if he has any objection.
