Former minister of information and broadcasting Sherry Rehman said interference of some ministers in the matters of information ministry forced her to resign from the office. Talking to media at Karachi airport, PPP leader and former minister said principles in politics means a lot for her and she had resigned from the ministry on the basis of principles. Sherry said she does not want to weaken government by any measure as country's security and stability lies in the politics of reconciliation and moderation. " Shaheed Benazir Bhutto had decided not to curb media and I have fulfilled my responsibility in this connection," she added.
