25 killed in rival Taliban groups clashes

PESHAWAR (APP) - Twenty-five militants were killed and scores injured in clashes between two rival Taliban groups in central Kurram Agency on Friday. According to APP Correspondent, extremists associated with Taliban factions led by Mullah Toofan and Mullah Rafique respectively were attacking positions of each other with lethal weapons and involved in kidnapping of the tribesman. The bloody battle which has been continuing for the last one month, has so far claimed 55 lives from both sides. The militants from Swat, Orakzai and Waziristan agencies have also joined the fray.
