TV anchor records statement before commission

ISLAMABAD  - Senior journalist and private TV channel anchor Hamid Mir on Monday arrived in Supreme Court building to record his statement before a three-judge Judicial Commission, established to inquire about attack on him.
Afzal Butt, President Pakistan Federation Union of Journalist, President and office-bearers National Press Club, Islamabad, and his brother Amir Mir, were also with him. Hamid recorded his statement before the Commission.
After recording the statement when he came out he waved to media but did not talk. All this time Hamid Mir appeared with his hand placed on his stomach as a feeling of pain reflected clearly in his facial expressions.
However, Afzal Butt talking to media said that they were preparing code of conduct for the media persons with the consultation of all the media unions and association.
This is the second time Hamid Mir had appeared before the Judicial Commission. Once he had appeared before the commission in Supreme Court’s Karachi Registry.
Hamid Mir would again appear before the commission today.
