CDA educating people about Swine Flu

ISLAMABAD - The Directorate of Health Services (CDA) is taking precautionary measures and educating people regarding the Swine Flu, says a press release issued here on Thursday. The Directorate has put on alert and directed its medical centers to check the patients with flu, cough, runny and stuffy nose, chill and fatigue very carefully, especially focusing on those patients who recently have returned from abroad and if any of the symptoms are seen, refer the patients immediately to the nearest hospital, the statement further stated. The Directorate is also displaying banners at prominent places of the city containing precautionary measures against the disease as well as pamphlets are being distributed to educate people about the epidemic. Dr Saeed Ahmad, Senior Director of Health Services, CDA, said that symptoms of the Swine Flu include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body itches, headache, chill and fatigue. He said that only precautionary measures could save people from the deadly disease.
