ISLAMABAD - President Mamnoon Hussain on Friday conferred the country’s highest honour, Nishan-e-Imtiaz, on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Rashad Mehmood and Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in recognition of their long meritorious services.
Besides Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his Cabinet members, the services chiefs and federal secretaries attended the investiture ceremony at the Presidency.
The president also hosted a reception in honour of the guests. Earlier, the president held a meeting with the CJCSC and the three services chiefs.
