ISLAMABAD  - ISLAMABAD - The government has promoted Air Vice Marshal Sohail Gul Khan to the rank of Air Marshal, says a press release. Sohail was commissioned in PAF on April 20, 1979. During his career, he has commanded Combat Commanders' School, a fighters' wing, an operational air base and an air command. He has also served in China as a leader of JF-17 Development Team. Sohail is a recipient of Hilal-i-Imtiaz (Military), Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) and Tamgha-i- Imtiaz (Military).
